  • Obtained multimillion-dollar judgment at trial in New York Supreme Court for a leading media company against construction manager and others related to construction defects in the sewer, water, electrical and fire prevention systems at its production facility.
  • Representation of developer in arbitration against construction company regarding termination of agreement.
  • Brought action to enforce agreement between seller and developer of condominium related to the construction of seller’s retail space.
  • Prosecuted litigation on behalf of co-op to terminate contractor in connection with a $10 million project.
  • Advised professional sports team regarding construction defects in new stadium.
  • Protected commercial lessor in dispute over responsibility for repairs to elevator and electrical systems after a fire in class A office building.
  • Representation of lessee seeking rent abatement due to flooding.
  • Protected luxury cooperative from federal injunction sought by apartment owner regarding repair or replacement of aging glass atrium.
  • On behalf of a joint venture for One World Trade Center, litigated an $8 million construction defect and property damage litigation resulting in settlement after completion of expert discovery.
  • Obtained recovery of more than $5 million for major commercial landlord in numerous litigations with current and former tenants.
  • Defended prime contractor against claims of breach of fiduciary duty by sub where the Port Authority of NY/NJ rejected contractor’s efforts to convince the PA to accept subs’ alleged change orders.
  • Achieved favorable settlement after a hearing for majority partner of major New York City boutique hotel in a dispute with its minority partner.
